Dhaka: Sri Lanka defeated Zimbabwe by five wickets in a tri-nation series match in Dhaka on Sunday.

Chasing a target of 199, the match was well poised when the South Asian side lost five wickets for 145.

However, Thisara Perera’s unbeaten 39 and Dinesh Chandimal’s 38 not out helped the islanders get over the line. Ealier, Perera also starred with the ball, picking 4/33, while Nuwan Pradeep picked 3/28 to restrict Zimbabwe to 198.
