Nazmul Hossain Shanto, the right handed batsman of Bangladesh Under-19 team, has become the leading run-scorer in Under-19 one-day cricket topping Pakistan’s Sami Aslam.

Shanto also achieved the milestone of becoming the first Under-19 batsman to score 1,700 runs in their 2nd Group A match of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup against Scotland at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium (SKICS) in Cox’s Bazar today.

Earlier, Aslam achieved the milestone during the ICC Under-19 World Cup 2014 quarter-final against England at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.
