Bangladesh Under-19 cricket team skipper Mehedi Hasan Miraz set the milestone of highest 74-wicket haul record during their 3rd and last Group-A match of the ICC Under-19 Cricket World Cup against Namibia at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday.

Miraz set the record leapfrogging the Pakistani bowler Imad Wasim's record of 73-wicket. To make the mark Miraz bagged two wickets for 12 runs in 7.5 overs against Namibia.

Miraz started his bowling against Namibia from behind two wickets to reach the 74th wicket and completed the job in 32.5 overs by trapping Warren van Wyk lbw while leveled the record by dismissing Michael van Lingen in 15.2 overs.

However, Bangladesh emerged as group champion with all-win record stunning Namibia by eight-wicket.

Replying Namibia's 65/10 in 32.5 over, Bangladesh complete the winning journey scoring 66/2 in 16 overs.
