Colombo: India have beaten Bangladesh by six wickets in the 2nd Match of Nidahas Twenty20 Tri-Series against Bangladesh.

In the end, it wasn’t much of a contest. Bangladesh simply let India run them over and were completely outplayed.

India made a number of mistakes during the Bangladesh innings and yet the latter only managed to make 139.

A target of 140 is always difficult to defend in a T20I against a team that has the likes of Shikhar Dhawan, Rohit Sharma and Suresh Raina in their batting line up.

Dhawan scored his sixth T20I fifty and his partnership with Raina practically won the match for India. In the end, Manish Pandey and Dinesh Karthik saw it through as India walked to a 6-wicket win.

Earlier, Bangladesh have managed 139 runs on the board losing 8 wickets in 20 overs.

Besides, Bangladesh batsmen had showed a poor batting display against the Indian bowlers.

India have won the toss and elected to bowl first against Bangladesh in the 2nd Match of Nidahas Twenty20 Tri-Series in Sri Lanka.
