A team of elephants wearing the colours of teams set to participate in the World Cup played a round of soccer against a team of students in Thailand.
Video from the event in Ayutthaya on Tuesday shows the nine elephants playing soccer against a team of boys from a local school, reports the UPI.
The stunt was organized to encourage soccer fans not to gamble during the World Cup in Russia.
Police in Bangkok said they have arrested 763 people in 681 cases involving illegal soccer gambling since May 1.
