Video: Lionel Messi reveals truth behind ribbon in his boots!

Argentine star Lionel Messi had something amazing in his boots during the match against Nigeria. It was a must-win encounter for Argentina when they took on Nigeria and Messi after facing a lot of flak for his performance in the previous matches against Iceland and Croatia, got on the scoresheet in the 14th-minute breaking his goal drought. But did you spot a change in his boots?
We guess you did not!
Well, Messi wore a ribbon on his boots, which apparently was given by a journalist named Rama Pantorotto of Telefenoticias, reports the India.com
In the video that has gone viral, shows the reporter asking Messi if he wore the lucky charm after Argentina won the match. Messi’s reply won hearts instantly. Well let’s start with what the reporter asked, ’In the first match I gave you the good luck charm that my mother gave me, I’m not sure if you kept it or threw it away.’ To which Messi replied took out his socks and showed the red string tied to his ankle and said, ‘Look’.
Once Messi has made the reply, the reported got confused and all he could say is ’Sorry?’. A gleeful Messi responded, ‘For real.’ The reporter further asked him, ‘For real? You put it on your leg?’, to which the footballer replied, ‘I wanted to say thank you.’
After that Messi left and Pantorotto turned towards the camera and said, ‘Ma, my dear, he put the string on his leg.’
Surely, Messi made the reporter’s day!
A moment the reporter will never forget.
Argentina have not made it to the Round of 16 and will now play France on June 30, 2018 at the Kazan Arena.
