Captain Mashrafe Bin Mortaza has won the toss and elected to bat first in the first ODI against West Indies at Guyana.
A lot will depend on the mental strength of the visiting Bangladesh team following their disastrous Test series defeat as the Tigers will look to gain some confidence in their favourite format when they take on West Indies in the first of a three-match ODI series in Guyana today.
The match is set to start at 7:30pm Bangladesh time.
Liton Das was a surprise exclusion from the side after he came back in amongst the runs in the warm-up match against UWI Chancellor's XI at Sabina Park on Thursday. Bangladesh XI: Tamim Iqbal, Anamul Haque, Sabbir Rahman, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah, Mosaddek Hossain, Mehidy Hasan Miraz, Mashrafe Mortaza (capt), Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman.
