Group A toppers, Bangladesh and Pakistan, faced each other on Thursday in which the former almost cemented its spot in the semi-finals of the SAFF Suzuki Cup 2018.

Bangladesh defeated Pakistan 1-0 in the nail-biting match.

Earlier, Bangladesh beat Bhutan 2-0, and Pakistan staged a comeback to international football beating Nepal 2-1, to secure the crucial three points on Day 1 of the tournament.
