Bangladesh is ‘determined’ to shed off the bad memories from the last match and get into the act as they face United Arab Emirates in match three of Asia Cup T20 in Dhaka on Friday.

Shakib Al Hasan, the ace all-rounder of the team, was blamed by many Bangladesh cricket fans for the ill-fate of the match against India on 24 February as the star cricketer showed poor performance on the field.

It seems the defeat against India has made Shakib more resolute to play stronger.

He took no time to announce the team’s plan on social media.

‘Tonight we are determined to seal the Match with a Victory!’, says Shakib’s official page on Facebook.

Shakib wants the Tigers’ fans to support the team too.

‘Keep Roaring for us as we take the fight to the field!’

Both Bangladesh and United Arab Emirates have lost their opening games in the tournament.

‘While Bangladesh lost to India, United Arab Emirates went down to Sri Lanka. Bangladesh in home conditions are hot favourites for this encounter and will be hoping to get a good start on a track that favours seamers early on’, reports india.com.

‘The visitors are a team made up of amateurs and are still looking for a famous win against the big boys. Bangladesh did not look convincing against India but should find their footing against a weak opposition.’

‘One should watch out for all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan, still the best player between the two teams. UAE meanwhile will bank on captain Amjad Javed, who had a good game against Sri Lanka.’
