Cricket-loving fans burst into wild joy following the victory of Bangladesh against England in the ICC Cricket Wold Cup that saw the Tigers into the quarterfinals of the mega event.

The Tigers reached the quarterfinals beating England by 15 runs in their 5th Pool-A match at Adelaide Oval in Australia on Monday.

Soon after the win of the Tigers, cricket fans brought out victory processions in many places across the country, including the capital.

The Dhaka University students celebrate the Tigers’ victory at the TSC when they colour each other with dry powder and coloured water.

Victory processions were also brought at Chittagong University, Khulna University and other universities.

Many were seen feeding each other with sweetmeat to celebrate the outstanding success of the Bangladesh Cricket Team.

Meanwhile, President Abdul Hamid, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia greeted the Bangladesh cricket team for their outstanding performance.

In separate messages, they also expressed the hope that the Tigers would continue their winning streak in the future too.
