Dhaka: Tigers waited for about 10 overs of play before striking again for their second wicket hunt against Pakistan in the World Cup T20 match.

On the 14th over Sabbir Rahman got Ahmed Shehzad who was caught near the boundary after a smashing innings of 52.

As of filing this report Pakistan scored 146 in 15.3 over losing 2 wickets.

Earlier Arafat Sunny bowled Sharjeel Khan as Bangladesh has got their first wicket.

Sharjeel jumped down the track too early, failed to adjust when Arafat slips it in quicker. Sharjeel was making room to open up the off side because he didn’t like being cramped with the around the stumps line.

Pakistan won the toss and send Bangladesh to field  in the Group 2 match in the ongoing ICC World T20 2016 at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata today (March 16).

‘Pitch is looking good, last game we played against sri Lanka, pitch remained the same. Struggling with batting, we are going with six batsmen and two allrounders, players are confident, Hafeez really did well, Shehzad is back,’ says Shahid Afridi

‘We would like to bat first as well,’ says Mashrafe in the away kit where the red dominates with green on the sleeves, ‘Boys are confident, the ground is open if we win the first game. Arafat Sunny comes in for Abu Hider’

Bangladesh: Mashrafe Mortaza (capt), Mahmudullah, Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim (wk), Sabbir Rahman, Mhd Mithun, Al-Amin Hossain, Arafat Sunny, Shakib Al Hasan, Tamim Iqbal, Taskin Ahmed
