Dhaka: Opener Soumya Sarker may be dropped from the Bangladesh squad against India as Tamim Iqbal, who did not play in the last match due to illness, is most likely to return.

Bangladesh team management sources said they are giving priority to the bowling attack to tackle the strong Indian batting line-up.

Mithun may open the innings with Tamim as he played well against the Australia attack. So Soumya might be dropped as he is out of form right now.

If Soumya is out, spin all-rounder Shuvagata Hom may be kept in the squad keeping in mind the spinning track of the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

One of them may be dropped from the squad, said the team management source.

There is also the possibility of bringing Nasir Hossain in replacing Shuvagata.

Bangladesh probable squad: Mashrafe Mortaza (C), Tamim Iqbal, Mohammad Mithun, Sabbir Rahman, Shakib Al Hasan, Mahmudullah, Mushfiqur Rahim, Saqlain Sajib, Shuvagata Hom, Mustafizur Rahman, and Al-Amin Hossain
