Dhaka: Bangladesh Cricket team returned home on Sunday morning from Kolkata by a Jet Airways flight on completion of their frustrating ICC World T20 engagements in India.

Although the Tigers achieved their first target of reaching the Super-10 stage of the ongoing ICC World Twenty20 after beating the Netherlands by eight runs, Oman by 54 runs after no result against Ireland all at Dharamsala in the qualifying round matches, they returned with home empty losing all the four Super-10 matches.

Bangladesh suffered a huge 55 runs defeat against Pakistan in Kolkata, conceded three wickets defeat against Australia in Bangalore, conceded just one-run defeat against host India in the last three thriller in Bangalore while suffered a humiliating 75 runs defeat against New Zealand scoring their ever-lowest innings 70 runs in T201.

The achievement of Bangladesh in the ongoing World T20 was the five-wicket haul by Mustafizur Rahman and a single run defeat against top ranking India in memorable match.
