Tigers’ foreign coaching staff not worried about security: Akram
Dhaka: Foreign coaching staff of Bangladesh national cricket team are not worried about the security measures as they have long been staying here. Chairman of the Cricket Operations Committee of Bangladesh Cricket Board Akram Khan said this while talking to sports journalists at the BCB office in Mirpur on Tuesday afternoon.
‘Security for foreign coaching staff is not a problem. They are not worried about the local security measures. They’ve long been staying with the team and have no complaint about their safety,’ he said.
‘The skill training of the national cricketers will begin this week soon after the joining of the foreign coaching staff of the national cricket team. The national cricketers are now working on their fitness,’ he further said.
Akram Khan, also a BCB director, said the coaching staff are expected to join the camp within this week.
A total of 30 cricketers are now in the preliminary squad of the national cricket team for the preparation of the upcoming home series against England.
