Bangladesh football team to leave for Maldives Tuesday

Dhaka: Bangladesh national football team will leave for Maldives on Tuesday to play a FIFA Friendly match against the country on September 1.  

Bangladesh is going to play the FIFA Friendly as part of their preparation before the two matches of the AFC Asian Cup 2019 (Play off-2) Qualifiers against Bhutan in Dhaka on September 6 and away match on October 11.  

However, Bangladesh will miss their two dependable attacking midfielders Mamunul Islam Mamun and Jamal Buhiyan against Maldives.  

Mamun was sidelined from the squad due to knee injury whil Jamal Buhiyan for two yellow cards had shown in the match against Tajikistan in June.  

The 33-memeber Banglaedsh team included 10 officials.  

Bangladesh Tema (23-player): Sahidul Alam, Ashraful Islam Rana, Rayhan Hasan, Mohammad Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Topu Barman, Mamun Miah, Ariful Islam, Pranotosh Kumer Das, Razaul Karim, Waly Faisal, Mohammed Shakawat Hossain Rony, Sohel Rana, Emon Mahmud, Hemonta Vinsent Biswas, Rubel Miya, Mohammad Nabib Newaz Ziban, Yeamin Ahmed Chowdhury Munna, Jafar Iqbal, Abdullah, Sento Chandra Shen, Sohel Rana, Didarul Alam and Anamul Hoque Sharif.  

Officials (10-member): Showkat Ali Khan (Team Leader), Iqbal Hossain (Team Manager), Paul Thomas Smalley (Technical and Strategical Director), Tom Julianus Maria Saintfiet (Head Coach), S M Zakaria (Coach), Ryan David Sandford (Goalkeepeing Coach), Riedoh Berdien(Fitness Coach), S M Faysal (Media Officer), Shazib Shams Bakshi(Physio) and Mohsin Team(Attendent).
