The Eid-ul-Azha, one of the two major religious festivals of the Muslims, will be celebrated across Bangladesh tomorrow (13 September) amid due solemnity and religious fervour.

The ace all-rounder of Bangladesh cricket team Shakib Al Hasan has wished his fans ‘a glorious Eid’ through his official Facebook page.

‘This Eid, let’s take a step forward in creating a better world together. Wishing everyone a glorious Eid, and hope that you have a wonderful time with your friends and family!’

Bangladesh will host their first one-day international series against Afghanistan in late September in preparation for the arrival of the England team, according to the president of their cricket board.

England are due to arrive in Bangladesh on September 30 for three ODIs and two Test matches despite concerns over security.
