Dhaka: Former Bangladesh national cricket team captain Mohammad Ashraful’s father, Abdul Matin, died at a private hospital in Dhaka in the early hours of Tuesday.

Abdul Matin breathed his last at about 1:00am while undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospital, reports bdcricteam.com.

Ashraful told NTV Online his father was suffering from respiratory and cardiac problems. Few days back, he was admitted to the hospital and was put on life support.

Quoting Ashraful bdcricteam.com reported that his father’s body will be taken to Brahmanbaria and will be buried there.
