Uncapped Mosaddek Hossain have been picked up in the 13-man squad for the first two ODIs against Afghanistan to be played on September 25 and 28.

However, there was no place for Al-Amin Hossain, with Shafiul Islam making a comeback in the side, reports ESPNCricinfo.

The matches of the first ever bilateral series between the two nations will be held at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on September 25, 28 and October 1. All the matches are scheduled to start at 2:30pm.

In their previous two ODI meetings, Bangladesh defeated Afghanistan by 105 runs in the World Cup 2015, but lost by 32 runs in the first instance in Asia Cup in 2014.

Asghar Stanikzai will lead the Afghan side that arrived in Dhaka after completing around a two-week training camp in India.

With this series, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza-led Bangladesh will take the ground for ODI after around 10-months as the Tigers’ played the last ODI in 11 November 2015 at home against Zimbabwe.
