Bangladesh try to fight back after opener Soumya Sarkar returned to the dressing room as he banged in short and kicks up outside off, Bangladesh opener Soumya Sarkar looked to pull in the first over, but lost his shape and ended up flapping a pull into the hands of midwicket. A simple catch for Shabir Noori, Dawlat Zadran was the bowler.

Bangladesh were 68/1 after 14 overs. Tamim scored 37, Imrul 29.

Bangladesh win the toss and choose to bat as they are set to play their first one-day-international match in 10 months as they take on Afghanistan in the 1st match of the three-match series at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) on Sunday.

The day-night match of the ROCKET Bangladesh vs Afghanistan ODI Series started at 2:30pm local time (8:30 GMT). Satellite channel Gazi TV is telecasting the match live.
