Dhaka: Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, the skipper of Bangladesh ODI team has turned 33 today.

The Narail Express was born in Narail district on 5 October, 1983.

Bangladesh’s limited over leader captained his team in 28 ODI matches and took his team at the shore of victory in an impressive 20 times.

In T20Internationls, Mashrafe led Bangladesh 23 times and tigers won in nine matches.

Additionally as a Test captain, he captained one match and clinched that.

Mashrafe played 163 One Day International matches and 36 Test matches.

He took 78 wickets in 36 Tests while in ODIs, the tigers’ ODI captain 208 wickets and picked up 38 wickets in T20Is.

Mortaza made his debut in ODI cricket on 23 November 2001 and Test cricket on 8 November 2001 against Zimbabwe.
