Imrul Kayes hits 2nd ODI ton against England
Dhaka: Opening batsman Imrul Kayes hit his 2nd century in the ODI cricket in the first match of the three-match ODI series against England at Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Friday.
Imrul Kayes, who made his ODI debut against New Zealand in Chittagong on Oct 14 in 2008, completed his century off 105 balls, featuring 11 fours and two sixes, with a four gifted from overthrow through fine-leg by Willey in the 36.1 overs of the match.
He was on batting with 107 from 114 deliveries till filing of this report.
The 29-year-old left handed opening batsman from Meherpur scored his maiden ton against New Zealand at Christchurch on February 10 in 2010 scoring 101.
