BPL: BJMC beat Soccer Club Feni 1-0

Dhaka: Team BJMC beat Soccer Club, Feni by a solitary goal in the JB Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football at the Bangabandhu National Stadium here Sunday.

With the feat, Team BJMC advanced to the 8th slot in the 12-team league securing 10 points from 10 outings while Soccer Club, Feni, remained at 9th place with nine points from 10 matches.

Chittagong Abahani dominated the league collecting 21 points from 10 matches while Dhaka Abahani followed them with 20 points from 10 encounters.

In the day’s match, Nigerian striker cum captain Eleta Kingsley put BJMC ahead in the 15th minute by a side volley from the corner of six-yard box (1-0).

Sujan Chowdhury of Soccer Club saved his team from conceding another goal in the 22nd minute foiling a long distance shot of BJMC medio Mohammad Swapan by a flying fingertip.
