Dhaka: Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) defending champions Comilla Victorians started their training at BKSP ground ahead of this season's BPL starting on November 4.  

The Comilla Victorians already formed a strong team with pacer Mashrafe Mortaza as the icon player of the side. On the first day of practice, seven local cricketers, divided into two groups, took part in fitness and fielding training session under the supervision of coach Mizanur Rahman Babul.  

Team head coach Mizur Rahman Babul said the players had light training on Tuesday and the full fledge practice would begin on Wednesday.  

He said "The players whom I got through player draft are really a real performers for the team and I am very hopeful with them," said a press release on Tuesday.
