Dhaka: Uttar Baridhara stunned Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited by a solitary goal in the JB Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) football held on Tuesday at Bangabandhu National Stadium.

In the day's match, Mohammedan went attack in the 34th minute but Cameroonian midfielder Nzekou Patrice's shot was saved by Baridhara goalie Ershad.

Goalkeeper Ershad saved Baridhara from conceding another goal in the 56th minute. Mohammedan forward Shahadat Hossain Shahed curved a cross in the box from the left flank where Guinness forward Ismail Bangoura's header was punched by goalie Ershad at a cost of corner.

Baridhara scored the decisive goal in the 84th from a penalty. Defender Khalekurzaman Shabuj was brought down by Bishawnath Ghosh and referee pointed  to the spot. Shabuj made no mistake to convert the spot kick (1-0).

With the day's win, Uttar Baridhara bagged six points from 11 matches while Mohammedan remained at their previous credit of nine points from 11 outings.
