BPL Chittagong phase begins Thursday

Dhaka: After a two-day break, the 4th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League will resume at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on Thursday. 

In the opener of the 11-match Chittagon leg, table topper Dhaka Dynamites will take on lowly Chittagong Vikings at 2 pm while Rangpur Raiders will play Barisal Bulls in another match at 7pm.

Barisal Bulls will play against Ctg Vikings on November 22 to wrap up the Chittagong before the seven-team tournament moves to Dhaka for the reaming matches at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium from November 25. 

On completion of the 1st Dhaka phase, Shakib Al Hasan-led Dynamites took the top slot in the points table by virtue of net run rate followed by Barisal Bulls and Khulna Titans respectively. 

All the three franchised teams earned six points each playing four matches apiece and with same win-loss margin of 3-1.
