BPL T20 to resume Friday in Dhaka

Dhaka: The seven-team franchised tournament of the 4th Bangladesh Premier League T20 will resume at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) on Friday. 

Table topper Rangpur Riders will face Rajshahi Kings in the first match at 1:30 pm while second slot holder Khulna Titans will take on Barisal Bulls in another game starting at 6:15 pm. 

Rangpur secured five wins out of total six matches to collect 10 points, followed by Khulna also collected 10 points, but from seven outings with five wins and two loses. 

On completion of the double league round, top four teams will play the Play-off matches.

There will be three Play-off matches-- 1st Qualifier match, 2nd Qualifier match and the Eliminator.

The 1st Qualifier match will be played between position number one and two while the 3rd and the 4th teams will play the Eliminator match. 

Later, the loser of the 1st Qualifiers will face the winner of the Eliminator 2nd Qualifier match. 

The Final will be played between the winner Teams of 1st and 2nd Qualifier matches. 

The tournament started on November 8 at SBNCS to host first 13 matches, before moved at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong on November 17 for the next 11 games. Including the final, the remaining 22 matches will be held at SBNCS.
