Comilla slows down Rangpur's race for final-four
Dhaka: Comilla Victorians stunned Rangpur Riders by eight-run win in their 12th and last match of the 4th Bangladesh Premier League T20 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Sunday.
Rangpur Riders must pray for Khulna Titans's defeat against Dhaka Dynamites in the day's next game, with that the 42-match involving seven-team double-league phase of the tournament will wrap-up deciding the final-four teams.
With this result, Rangpur remained in their previous position of 4th, by virtue of better run rate, in the points table collecting 12 points, followed by Khulna also earned 12 points.
If Khulna can manage a win against table topper Dhaka in the last match, Rangpur will slip into 5th meaning that they will out of final-four race.
