Chittagong face Rajshahi in eliminator Tuesday

Dhaka: Chittagong Vikings will play against Rajshahi Kings in the eliminator game of the 4th Bangladesh Premier League T20 at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur on Tuesday. 

The first battle of the four-team Play-off stage of the tournament will begin at 2 pm. 

Chittagong advanced to the Play-off stage placing 3rd, by virtue of better run rate, securing 12 points from 12 outings, having six wins and six losses while Rajshahi placed bottom 4th in the points table having equal points and win-loss record. 

In another day’s match, table topper Dhaka Dynamites will play against 2nd slot holders Khulna Titans in the 1st qualifier game, scheduled to start at 7 pm. 

In the double-league phase, Dhaka secured eight wins and four loses to collect 16 points while Khulna collected 14 points from 12 outings, having seven win and five loses. 

The winner of the 1st qualifier game will directly set their final berth to be held at the same venue on Friday. 

To set another seat in the final, the loser of the 1st qualifier will take on the winner of the eliminator game in the 2nd qualifier game, starting at 7 pm on Wednesday.
