Bangladesh became a Test-playing nation 17 years ago. But they have not yet played any away match in India. Bangladesh will play against India in a one-off Test in February this year. Prior to the game, they will play a two-day practice match against India ‘A’ team.

Indian cricket board confirmed the schedule in a press release on Friday. The practice match will be held at Gymkhana Ground in Hyderabad on 5-6 February.

Next two days, that means on 7 and 8 February, Bangladesh team will have their practice sessions at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. On 9 February, Bangladesh will face India on the same stadium. Bangladesh team will leave for India on 2 February.
