Bangladesh’s practice match against India A Sunday
Dhaka: Bangladesh team, led by Mushfiqur Rahim, will play a two-day practice match against India A on February 5 and 6 at Gymkhana ground in Hyderabad.
The Test match will start on Thursday (February 9), at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad.
However, Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has been called Abu Jayed, a 23 years old pacer, to Bangladesh’s squad as back-up pacer for the one-off practice match to prepare for the one-off Test match against India.
Bangladesh picked 15 players for the one-off test match, and Jayed will join them as sixteenth number to play the practice match only.
Abu Jayed has clinched 31 wickets in his last four first class matches with four consecutive fifers.

This is the Bangladesh's first-ever bilateral tour to India, seventeen years after they were granted Test status in 2000, and will see them play their first ever Test match on Indian soil.
