Dhaka: Domestic run machine Tushar Imran who scored a scintillating 217 on Monday saw his compatriot Shahriar Nafees also struck 207 to take South Zone to 749 for 8 declared in their first innings against Central Zone at the close play on the third day of four-day Bangladesh Cricket League held on Tuesday at Bangladesh Krira Shikkha Protisthan Ground-3. 

While Central made some valiant efforts to finish the day on 184 for 3 still 565 runs behind with seven second innings wickets in hand. Tomorrow is the last day of the match. Sadman with 63 not out was at the crease. Saif Hasan with 50 and Marshall Ayub with 37 were the other notable Central Zone batsmen.

Shariar Nafees batting on 170 resumed his knock today and went to score 207 off 298 balls laced with 18 boundaries and five towering sixers.
