Sri Lanka resume second innings on Day 5

Dhaka: Sri Lanka resumed their second innings on day five with a lead of 139 runs with two wickets in hand in the second and last Test of Joy Bangla Cup series at P Sara Oval, Colombo on Sunday.

Overnight batsmen Dilruwan Perera (26) and Suranga Lakmal (16) will come at crease to extend their lead.

On the other hand, Bangladesh will look forward to wrap-up the Sri Lankan innings as early as possible and start batting to chase down the target to ensure an overseas victory in their landmark 100th Test.   

Bangladesh’s cutter Master Mustafizur Rahman and experienced all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan shared the six-wicket equally conceding 52 and 61 runs respectively to squeeze Sri Lanka’s batting line on the 4th day .
