Dhaka: Bangladeshi bowling sensation cutter master Mustafizur Rahman is likely to leave Dhaka for India on Tuesday (Apr 11) to play in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) for the Sunrisers Hyderabad.   Mustafiz, who returned from Sri Lanka with the Bangladesh team on Friday, got necessary clearance from BCB to play in the IPL on the same day.

He is expected to fly India on Tuesday subject to Indian visa and likely to play for his team in the 3rd match against Mumbai Indian on April 12.

Defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad made a good start in the ongoing IPL beating Royal Challengers Bangalore by 35 runs in the opening match on Wednesday.

The 21-year-old left arm fast medium bowler from Satkhira, Mustafiz, popularly known as Fizz, came to limelight in his first appearance in IPL for Sunrisers Hyderabad last year grabbing 17 wickets in 16 matches with an average of 24.76.

Bangladeshi world number one all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan directly flew to India from Sri Lanka on Friday to join his IPL side Kolkata Knight Riders, but missed the team's emphatic 10-wicket victory over Gujarat Lions in the first match on Friday.
