Dhaka: Two back to back goals by Saaduddin and Rubel Miah in the last four minutes enabled Dhaka Abahani Limited to earn an astonishing 2-0 goals victory over Group E leader Bengaluru FC of India in the AFC Cup Football at Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.

When the match was almost heading for a goalless draw, Saaduddin put hosts team ahead in the 86th minute while Rubel Miah confirmed the Abahani victory adding one more goals in the 90th minute with huge cheers from small crown in the big bowl.

Bangladesh Premier League champion Dhaka Abahani Limited, which remained at bottom of Group E with empty hand playing three matches, smartly opened the account with full three points upsetting group leader Bengaluru FC in their 4th match in front of home crowd.

With the day's well merited victory, Dhaka Abahani Limited took a sweet revenge of their 0-2 goals defeat against Bengaluru FC in away match on April 18.

Abahani Limited made a frustrating start in AFC Cup losing to Maziya FC of Maldives in home match on March 14, conceded 1-3 goals defeat against Mohun Bagan AC of India in their away match on April 4 while suffered a 0-2 defeat against Bengaluru FC in another away match on April 18.

Incidentally, this was the first defeat for Bengaluru FC in the Group E match of the ongoing AFC Cup.
