Dhaka: New Zealand beat Bangladesh by four wickets in their second match of the Walton Tri-Nation Series at Clontarf Cricket Club Ground in Dublin on Wednesday.

Depending on Latham's 54-run, Neesham's 52-run and Broom's 48-run, New Zealand scored 258 runs to beat Bangladesh.

Bangladesh bowlers Mustafizur Rahman and Rubel Hossain grabbed two wickets each while Mashrafe Bin Mortaza took a wicket. Another wicket came from run out.

Earlier, Bangladesh scored 257 for 9 in 50 overs against New Zealand where Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim and Mahmudullah Riyad hammered fifties scoring 61, 55 and 51 runs respectively.

Soumya shared a 72 in 15.2 overs for a solid openiong stand with Tamim Iqbal(23 runs off 42b; 3x4) who was caught by Cloin Munro off James Neesham bowling to depart from crease as the first Bangladesh's batsman.

Soumya departed from crease facing 67 balls to fire five boundaries. He was caught by skipper Tom Latham off Ish Sodhi's bowling at 117/3 in 14.5 overs.

Mushfiqur played an innings of 66 balls and fired four boundaries and one six befiore he was caught by Luke Ronchi off James Neesham bowling leaving team collection at 181/5 in 37.1 overs.

After Mushfiqur's depurture, Mahmudullah and Mosaddek Hossain built up a partnership of 61 in 10 overs in the 6th stand which carried team total to 242/6 in 47.2 overs.

Mahmudullah managed to fire six boundaries off 56 balls and was caught by Seth Rance off Hamish Bennett to depart from 6th pair.

Mosaddek was another notable scorer played run-a-ball 41 with four boundaries and was caught by Seth Rance off Hamish Bennett at 253/7 in 49.1 overs.

Bangladesh lost their last three three wickets -- Mosaddek, Mehedi Hasan Miraz and skipper Mash Rafe Bin Mortaza -- within a span of three-run off five balls.

Hamish Bennett captured three wickets for 31 runs in 10 overs. Ish Sodhi and James Neesham bagged two wickets each for 40 and 68 runs in 10 and 9 overs. Mitchell Santner took one for 37 in 10 overs. .

At an away or neutral venue, Bangladesh never secured victory against New Zealand in 15 matches.

Bangladesh managed eight wins against against Newzealand among their previous 28 ODI meetings, since 1990.
