Dhaka: Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society advanced to the semifinal of the Walton Federation Cup football eliminating Bangladesh Muktijuddha Sangsad Kria Chakra by 3-1 goals in the last quarterfinal at Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday.

Sharham Hawlader scored two goals for the winners in the 32nd and 69th minutes while Ismail Bangoura extended the winning margin scoring another one in the 63rd minute.

Motiur Rahman netted the only goal for the losers in stopgap time after 90 minutes.

Rahmatganj will face Chittagong Abahani Ltd in the 1st semifinal at the same venue on June 2.
