A part of the cricket world now considers Bangladesh as a big team. This is because of the ODI series win against Zimbabwe, outstanding success in the World Cup, Whitewashing Pakistan and the recent series win against India.

But Tiger cricketer Nasir Hossain does not consider Bangladesh as a big team.

Supporting his stand, Nasir said ‘Bangladesh has been performing well for many days. But Bangladesh cannot be termed as big team as most of our achievement is in the home ground.’

Nasir made the statement in a press conference ahead of the third ODI at the Mirpur Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket stadium on Tuesday.

Nasir thinks that Bangladesh can be called a big team after we play well for consecutive two to three years.

That does not mean that Nasir is not proud of the current success of the team.

‘Bangladesh has been performing well for almost one year. It cannot be looked down upon. Especially we had outstanding performance in the World Cup.’ said Nasir.
