BCB announces preliminary squad for Australia, South Africa series

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Thursday announced a 29-member preliminary squad for the upcoming home series against Australia and the away one against South Africa.

Australian cricket team will arrive in the capital on Aug 18 to play a two-match test series in Dhaka and Chittagong while Bangladesh team will tour South Africa on September-October next to play two tests, three ODI and two T20 matches against the Proteas, reports UNB.

The conditioning camp for the cricketers will begin on July 10 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in Mirpur.

Bangladesh Preliminary Squad: Tamim Iqbal, Imrul Kayes, Soumya Sarker, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan, Sabbir Rahman, Mashrafe Bin Mortaza, Mahmudullah, Liton Kumar Das, Mominul Haque, Mehedi Hasan Miraz, Taijul Islam, Mustafizur Rahman, Taskin Ahmed, Subashish Roy, Kamrul Islam Rabbi, Rubel Hossain, Nurul Hasan Sohan, Sanjamul Islam, Mosaddek Hossain Saikat, Shaifuddin, Anamul Hoque Bijoy, Abul Hasan Raju, Al Amin Hossain, Nasir Hossain, Muktar Ali, Tanvir Haider, Saqlain Sajib, and Shafiul Islam.
