Windies batsman Lendl Simmons to play for Rajshahi Kings

The West Indies batsman Lendl Simmons will play for Rajshahi Kings in the eight-team franchised-based 5th Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Cricket beginning on November 4.  

Rajshahi Kings has confirmed the inclusion of Lendl Simmons, who played for Khulna Titans in the previous BPL, in their franchised team, reporte the UNB.  

One of the seasoned campaigners of BPL, Simmons has scored over five thousand runs with a century. He also enjoyed a successful career for Mumbai Indians, Brisbane Heat and Karachi Kings.

The season will reintroduce a team based in Sylhet –Sylhet Royals-after the team in first two seasons. The team will play under new ownership and management. Participating teams are: Barisal Bulls, Chittagong Vikings, Comilla Victorians, Dhaka Dynamites, Khulna Titans, Rajshahi Kings, Rangpur Riders and Sylhet Royals.
