Mahmudullah, Anamul back in team

Dhaka: All-rounder Mahmudullah and top order batsman Anamul Haque were recalled in the Bangladesh squad for the first two ODIs of the three-match series against visiting South Africa.

Taskin Ahmed, Mominul Haque and Rony Talukdar were left out of the 14-man squad that was announced on Tuesday.

Mahmudullah missed the India series at home after sustaining a fracture on his left index finger. Anamul injured himself during the World Cup in March and was subsequently not picked up for the home matches against India.

The first two 50-over games will be held on 10 and 12 July, at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur. The third and final ODI is scheduled to be held at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in the port city on15 July.

Bangladesh squad for first two ODIs: Mashrafe Mortaza (captain), Tamim Iqbal, Soumya Sarkar, Mushfiqur Rahim, Shakib Al Hasan (vice-captain), Sabbir Rahman, Nasir Hossain, Arafat Sunny, Rubel Hossain, Mustafizur Rahman, Litton Das, Jubair Hossain, Anamul Haque and Mahmudullah.
