Tigers have sealed their first series victory against South Africa as they win the third ODI of the three match National Polymer ODI Cricket series by 9 wickets at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chittagong on Wednesday.

This is the third consecutive series victory for Bangladesh after victories against Pakistan and India.

Tiger opener Soumya Sarkar scored 90 runs while another opener Tamim Iqbal was not out for 65 runs. They made an opening partnership of 154 runs.

In the rain curtailed 40-over match, Proteas, batting first, were all out for 168 runs losing 9 wickets.

JP duminy was the highest scorer for South Africa with 51 runs.

Shakib Al Hasan bagged 3 wickets while Mustafizur Rahman and Rubel Hossain took 2 wickets each.

Mashrafe Mortaza and Mahmudullah took the other two wickets.

Shakib Al Hasan and Mashrafe Mortaza entered the list of 200 ODI wicket takers.

Bangladesh won the second ODI beating South Africa by 7 wickets.

South Africa defeated Bangladesh in the first match by 8 wickets.
