Indian Yoga guru Baba Ramdev, in a major statement set to raise eyebrows, allegedly claimed that he was denied a Nobel Prize because he is a 'black'.
According to an Indian channel on Friday, Ramdev during a yoga event in Ranchi stated that he would have been honoured with the Nobel Prize by now if it wasn't for the colour of his skin, reported the RNN.
‘If I would have been a fair-skinned person, the Nobel Prize would have been awarded to me till now for my work in the field of yoga. But, it has been denied to me because I am black’, Ramdev said.
Reportedly, this statement by the yoga guru came during an event in which Jharkhand Chief Minister was also present.
