Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau was accused of hypocrisy after it had been disclosed he was using public money to fund nannies to look after his kids.

Trudeau earlier criticised the Conservative Party’s strategy to child care benefits, reports the Financial Spots.

‘He had asserted that wealthy families did not want citizens’ help.’

‘Two nannies were hired as ‘special helpers’ at the prime minister’s house below the Official Residences Act.’

‘The places were approved by the cabinet, in November, although nannies are going to be paid for his or her work from 4 November — the day Trudeau and his cabinet were sworn in.’

‘Conservative party member Lisa Raitt has labelled using nannies as “hypocritical” and said the places needs to be financed by Trudeau’s wages.’

Trudeau took issue with all the Conservatives’ focus upon income-splitting and child care advantages tax credits.’

‘We do not want it. And Canada cannot manage it.’

‘Like all families of prime ministers, a few staff provide support. Given the character of the prime minister’s obligations and his young family, the Trudeaus employ two home workers who, as well as performing other duties at home, act as secondary health professionals to the three kids,’ said a representative for the prime minister.

‘Trudeau can also be eligible for accumulate of Canada’s universal child care benefit, though around $3,400 as part he has said this cash will be given to charity.’
