Additional BSF deployed at Indo-Bangladesh borders
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) has deployed additional personnel at the Indo-Bangladesh borders to prevent illegal cross-border activities, report Indian news media.
Recently, the apex court of India has issued an order for deployment of additional BSF members.
The country’s ministry of home affairs informed the court that the government has approved the projects for border fencing and installation of floodlights for proper visibility during night in the border areas.
The Indian government said 29 Border outposts have been identified and adequate men power have been deployed with special surveillance equipment, vehicles and other infrastructure in support to prevent smuggling of cattle.
