Kollam, India: In yet another shocking incident, a seven-year-old girl was raped and murdered by her maternal uncle at Kerala’s Kollam in India on Wednesday afternoon. 

The Kerala Police arrested Rajesh, the 46-year-old uncle, on Wednesday evening, reports the Times Now.

He has reportedly confessed to raping the girl, killing her and then dumping her body. 

When the Class 2 student girl was on route to her school in the morning, Rajesh met her and reportedly told her that he would drop her.

However, he took her to a rubber estate and allegedly committed the heinous act. When the girl reportedly said that she would inform her parents about the incident, Rajesh allegedly killed her and dumped her body.

The girl’s body was found by the workers at the farm.

When they were taking her to the hospital, they found Rajesh near the farm and took him to the police station. During interrogation, Rajesh allegedly confessed to his crime.

The girl’s body, found in a rubber estate in Kulathupuzha, has been sent for post-mortem.
