A Muslim woman was escorted out of Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump’s rally in South Carolina in the United States on Friday after she stood up in silent protest.

‘Rose Hamid, a 56-year-old flight attendant, was sitting in the stands behind Trump, when the billionaire suggested Syrian refugees fleeing a civil war were affiliated with the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS)’, reported the CNN.

‘Hamid, who was wearing a hijab, did not say anything while Trump spoke, according to CNN.  However, Trump supporters called attention to her and Marty Rosenbluth, the man sitting next to her who also stood up.

The two were wearing stars resembling those worn by Jews during the Holocaust.’

‘Security escorted the two out as Trump supporters booed and yelled ‘get out’.’

According to Hamid, one person shouted, ‘You have a bomb, you have a bomb,’ CNN reported.

‘The ugliness really came out fast and that’s really scary,’ she told CNN after she was escorted out of the venue.

‘Hamid added that several people around her held her hand and said ‘sorry’ as she was forced to leave.’

‘There is a hatred against us that is unbelievable,’ Trump said after Hamid was ejected. ‘It’s their hatred, not our hatred.’

‘Hamid told CNN before the event that she didn’t plan to disrupt the event, but wanted to give Trump’s supporters some insight as to what Muslims are like.’

‘I figured that most Trump supporters probably never met a Muslim, so I figured that I’d give them the opportunity to meet one’ she said. ‘I really don’t plan on saying anything. I don’t want to be disrespectful but if he says something that I feel needs answering I might — we’ll see what strikes me.

‘People don’t have a chance to see anything other than the Muslims they see on TV,’ she added, talking about the footage of terrorists.
