This cop's hilarious reaction to repeat traffic offenders is viral.

Andhra Pradesh, India: The Bengaluru City Police and the Bengaluru Traffic Police are already Twitter-famous for excellent campaigns and memorable memes, and it seems now that the top cops of Karnataka are also upping their social media game. A hilarious picture to promote road safety, shared by a senior Karnataka cop, has Twitter in splits.

Abhishek Goyal, Deputy Commissioner of Police -Traffic East, Bengaluru, shared a picture of a family of five riding on one bike - all of them without helmets. Standing in front of them hands folded and head bowed is a police officer. "What else can he do ? We always have a choice .. chose the safe one ! #BeSafe" he hilariously captions the picture.

According to the Indian Express, the incident took place in Andhra Pradesh's Anantapur district. The picture shows Circle Inspector B Shubh Kumar of Anantapur's Madakasira Circle pleading in front of a repeat traffic offender.

The picture, shared about eight hours before writing this, has already been 'liked' over 4,500 times. Among the 2,600 people who have 'retweeted' it are Bengaluru City Police and Bengaluru Traffic Police.

The picture of the unusual way the police officer has dealt with the traffic offender has elicited quite a few laughs on Twitter and Facebook.
