Seoul: A fire broke out in an eight-storey fitness centre in the South Korean city of Jecheon on Thursday, killing 16 people and injuring 10, the Yonhap news agency reported.

The fire started in a vehicle parked in a basement parking lot of the building, Yonhap reported, citing firefighters.
