Three Bangladeshis were dead and four others were injured, following a car crash on the Kakadu Highway in the Nothern Territory of Australia.

The car carrying seven people rolled on the Kakadu Highway about six kilometres north of Cooinda Lodge at about 12:30pm on Saturday, reports ABC news.

The deceased are Sadeka Kamal Nipa, Saiful Islam Dinar, and Maisha Quddus.

Four injured patients were transferred to Darwin by CareFlight just before 5: 00pm and then to the Royal Darwin Hospital. They are now in stable condition, the hospital says

On Saturday, a spokesman said two of the injured people might have limbs amputated, and another had a severe head injury.

Three people, believed to be two women and one man, were killed, while the four others in the Toyota Prado were injured.

The other four people are now in a stable condition at Royal Darwin Hospital, although three remain in the intensive care unit.

It came less than a year after the Bangladeshi community lost two other friends in a car crash at Litchfield National Park.

Mahmudul Hasan, the president of the Bangladeshi Student Association of Charles Darwin University, all three who were killed were married, and survived by their spouses, and less than 30 years.
