Salman Khan’s 1998 blackbuck poaching case came back to haunt him after the verdict was announced against him.

The actor was convicted in the poaching case 20 years after the case was filed against him and his Hum Saath Saath Hai co-stars.

While others including Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu and Neela were acquitted since the eyewitness failed to recognise them, Salman had to bear the brunt.

Many Bollywood actors including Jaya Bachchan, Varun Dhawan and Sameer Soni have voiced their dissatisfaction against the actor’s verdict, but Shah Rukh Khan had expressed his emotions and belief for the actor much before them, reports the Bollywoodlife.com.

Muhabbat Baato dosto Nafrat already bhut phel chuki hai.

Salman Khan is good person just because of some issues don't hate him.
Respect the Law, Respect The People's if you can't than please do your work don't creat problem

Yes, you read it right! Though the actor has not voiced his concern at present after Salman’s conviction and five years imprisonment sentence, there was a time when he openly expressed his sadness and support for his Karan Arjun co-star.

We came across an old video clip from SRK’s interview where the actor is heard supporting Salman.

Many believe that the Dabangg star is paying a heavy price for his celebrity status and SRK shared the same opinion.

He said, “Sometimes I feel there are lot of advantages of being a movie star but a lot of negativity too. I think one of the negatives of being a celebrity is that you get judged for doing a crime even before it is proven.

This has happened time and again with Salman. I am nobody and genuinely not someone who can comment on what the law is but somewhere at a personal level, one feels and wishes all this did not happen to Salman.”

Salman and SRK’s friendship has been nothing short of a bumpy ride. From friends turned foes, to friends again, their relationship has seen it all.

Today they might be the good friends of industry but their rapport goes beyond this. From doing cameos in each other’s movies to enjoying a cycle ride on the streets of Bandra, this Karan and Arjun pair is indeed an epitome of friendship that lasts forever.
